Course Overview

Prerequisite- Initial Overhead Crane Operator Hoisting Rigging & Material Handling Course, prior to the expiry date. This course focuses on providing the foundation for meeting the compliance requirements of CSA B167-16 Overhead Traveling Cranes. ASME B-30.Series This course is designed to provide Overhead Crane Operators with the minimum industry training requirements, to ensure safe and efficient operations. The duration of this course is covered over one day. Participants are required to attend an online section. No classroom portion. No practical evaluation is required. First day – theory portion 8 hours online The course contains the following: Calculation Quiz, Signal Quiz, and Theory-Exam. A passing grade is a minimum of 70% on the Theory. Successful participants will be issued an Overhead Crane Operator Hoisting & Rigging certificate. (valid for 3 years) Once the refresher course is expired the participants will have to take the 2-Day Initial Overhead Crane Operator Hoisting, Rigging & Material Handling Course. (valid for 3 years) ACTI offers an Initial Overhead Crane Operator Hoisting, Rigging & Material Handling Course. (valid for 3 years) Refresher Overhead Crane Operator Hoisting, Rigging & Material Handling Course can only be taken one time, once expired must take the Initial Overhead Crane Operator Hoisting, Rigging & Material Handling Course. (valid for 3 years)
